Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Volentu, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are able to enter into a binding agreement with us.

2. Beta service

Volentu is currently offered as a closed beta. This means the Service is provided on a pre-release basis and may be incomplete, change frequently, or contain errors. Access may be limited, features may be added or removed, and we may discontinue the beta at any time. We appreciate your feedback but are under no obligation to act on it.

3. Your account

To use certain features you may need to create an account or receive a beta invitation. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly at info@volentu.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where permitted by law;
• copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

5. Your content

The goals, crossings, journal entries, and other information you add to Volentu ("Your Content") remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of Your Content.

6. Health and wellbeing disclaimer

Volentu is a personal habit- and discipline-tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice. Any health-related figures (such as sleep or heart-rate variability) are informational only. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your health. Do not disregard professional advice because of anything you read or track in the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by Volentu and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you in these Terms, we reserve all rights in and to the Service.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process your personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, particularly during the beta period.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Volentu will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, the sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the law of your country of residence. Disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Poland, unless applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
